Job Descrption:
- Monitoring procurement of raw materials, capital goods under EPCG and Advance Authorization scheme by coordinating with Purchase & Production team.
- Submissions of Drawback Claims to Concerned Authority.
- Entire Planning and execution of Import/Export licenses
- Ensuring acquisition of appropriate import / export benefits - advance licenses item specific licenses, DEPB, DFIA etc.
- Resolve any issues that arise to avoid delays in shipments
- Communicate with relevant authorities and internal customers to ensure support for activities
- Ensuring benefits available to exporters are availed and maximized. Monitoring Export Obligations and selection of the most beneficial scheme
- Fixing I/O norms for products and making representation for more beneficial norms for products
- Liaise with customs and DGFT for all matters related to export benefits
- Duty drawback claims and status holder benefits
- Availing fully benefits like focused product, focused market scheme etc.
- Reviews and follow up- Review of various reports -license repots, and ensuring same applied in CHA
- Review and record all relevant data related to shipping schedules, import licenses etc.
- Follow up with CHA to ensure guidelines and SOP are followed

Key Activities/ Performance expected
- Overall Incharge of Commercial Function.
- Comply with VMI systems wherever applicable
- Forecasting / planning of stock items to be ordered on regular basis
- Timely call offs of Raw material, Packing material, Consumables & Engg spares.
- Plant stores management including Inventory control processes and procedures with complete compliance to safety standards.
- Monitoring non-moving / slow moving stocks and allocate them for jobs issued, before ordering afresh; follow up with Mktg team for unused Inventory, interact with Operations for alternate usage
- Highlight the probable shortages / delays / non-availability of material to Ops / Planning as soon as Jobs are issued and specify corrective action taken and probable new delivery date.
- Negotiation of prices with vendors under the Corporate guidelines for B & C items.
- Vendor Rating / feedback to CHQ on all key raw materials.
- Coordination with Transporters for timely arrival of incoming material.
- Coordination with Accounts for clearance of suppliers & transporters payments by ensuring that all the procedures are followed strictly before purchasing the material and facilitating timely payment to the suppliers by Accounts.
- Compliance of statutory aspects related to purchase / movement of material, e.g. Excise, VAT/CST, Octroi, etc.
- Oversee despatches, freight, payments.
- Manage outside job work processing completely with excise compliance.
- Following the procedures for exports under bond, payment of duty, Cenvat, Job work.
- Submitting returns relating to excise, EPCG, export scheme- Monthly, Quarterly, Annually.
- Explanations to the Excise Authorities on records, data and routines.
Educational Qualification
Essential Graduate with a post graduate Diploma in Materials Management or Supply Chain (SCM) , Operation
Working Experience (in yrs.) 9-15 years
Expected Industry Profile FMCG / Packaging / Polymers / Printing / Coatings / Lamination, Manufacturing wherein plant commercial activities are there.
